In terms of clause 13(a) (i) of the Articles of Association of the PDEXCIL, the last date of renewal of membership of the PDEXCIL for the year 2008-2009 is 31.05.2008. Failure to pay subscription fees by 31.05.2008 will result in cancellation of your membership with the PDEXCIL and thereby automatic cancellation of Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) issued by the PDEXCIL. Members in their own interest are requested to renew their membership falling due on 01.04.2008 by sending a Demand Draft / Pay Order of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) favouring "Powerloom Development and Export Promotion Council" payable at Mumbai so as to reach the Council's office at Mumbai or Erode latest by 31.05.2008. Kindly mention your Membership No., RCMC No., & Company Name on the Reverse of the Demand Draft/Pay Order.

Further, members are requested to send their changed mailing address, Tel. No., Fax No., E-mail address, Website address alongwith the Membership No. and RCMC No. so as to incorporate the change in the Register of Members of the PDEXCIL for its updation.

Renewal of RCMC after 5 years of its issue will be considered on submission of fresh application for RCMC, duly completed, alongwith the required documents as per the Rules & Regulation applicable at the time of making the Application for RCMC. The expired original RCMC must be surrendered alongwith the application. Members may please check the validity of their RCMC issued by the PDEXCIL office.

Please note that only Demand Draft/Pay Order is accepted. Cheque and cash shall NOT be accepted for renewal.

1 . As you might be aware, that the RCMC issued to the members are valid for a period of 5 years ending 31st March of the licensing year, subject to the renewal of membership of the Council, every year.

2. Renewal of RCMC after its expiry will be considered on submission of fresh application, duly completed as per the Rules & Regulations applicable at the time of making the Application. The expired RCMC in original, must be surrendered alongwith the application.

3. Membership must be renewed before 31st May every year. Non-renewal of membership will result in automatic cancellation of RCMC.

4. For those members, whose validity of RCMC is till 31.03.2008, the following procedure shall have to be followed;

a) Renew your membership with the PDEXCIL for the year 2008-2009 latest by 31/5/ 2008.

b) Collect a New Application form for RCMC from the Office of the PDEXCIL.

c ) Fill the Application set duly signed and submit the same alongwith all the necessary supporting documents and the earlier Original/Duplicate RCMC issued to your company to the office of the PDEXCIL.

d) Please note that the application for new RCMC shall be processed only after the membership has been renewed with PDEXCIL. Non renewal of membership will result in automatic cancellation of RCMC.

e) Indicate your membership no. with the PDEXCIL for any correspondence with the Council.
