Sub: Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (TUFS).

1. Decisions taken by Technical Advisory-Cum-Monitoring Committee(TAMC) in its 20th meeting held at Mumbai on 7th May 2003.

1. Additional machinery in the Annex-B of the GR on TUFS.

The following machines have been included in annex-B(g) of the GR on TUFsS as follows :

10 - Air covering mahine, 

11 - Universal double covering machine,

12 - Spandex attachment on circular knitting/texturisingmachine.

2. Additional machinery for readymade Garment Sector .

The following machines have been included in Annex - E(a) of the GR on TUFS as follows.

64 - Laser Colour Fading/Maarking/Drawing Machine.

65 - Laser operated Colour Spraying Machine.

66 - RMG Curing/heat setting oven

  iii.   Inclusion of Air Compressor 15 HP & above for all industries.

"Air Compressor 15 HP & above" has been included in the following Annexures of the GR on TUFS as under :

3. Annexure D1 (b) 17 and c 7

4. Annexure E (a) 67

5. Annexure F1 (b) (IV) 13

9. Annexure G (i) 22

iv.   Clarification regarding the eligible Thermo Pac.

The existing entry under Annex-F-1 (b) (IV) (2), Annex-F-2 (b) (IV) (2), Annex-F-3 (b) (IV) (2) and Annex-G (i) 21 has been amended as "Thermo Pac (Oil/gas fired)/other high temperature heating system".
