Sub : Technology Upgradation Fund Schemes (TUFS).

1. Proposals not accepted by financing agencies.

   As per the decision of the Inter Ministerial Steering Committee (IMSC) in its 7th meeting held on 1.11.2000, details of the proposals not accepted by the Fls or their co-opted agencies alongwith reasons for non-acceptance are required to be submitted to the Office of the Textile Commissioner for taking up the matter in deserving cases with the financing agency/bank concerned.

2. Co-option of additional banks / financial institutions by nodal agencies

   Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI), the nodal agency for the non-SSI sector under TUFS has co-opted 5 more commercial banks under TUFS. The list of the banks is as under :

   1. Dena Bank
      
   2. The South Indian Bank Ltd.
      
   3. The Vysya Bank Ltd.
      
   4. The Bank of Nova Scotia
      
   5. BHF-Bank AG
